Why
Phoenix?
The phoenix is a legendary, immortal bird from ancient mythology — one that cyclically regenerates and is reborn from its own ashes. It universally symbolises rebirth, resurrection, hope, and triumph over adversity.
Our founder chose this name deliberately. In an industry where noise is an unavoidable byproduct of progress, Phoenix exists to restore what industry takes away — quiet, compliance, and clarity.

1988
Phoenix Noise Control established
Founder identifies the growing demand for acoustic and HVAC noise control solutions in the Malaysian and regional market. Phoenix is born.
1993
In-house fabrication plant established — VTR Sdn Bhd
Phoenix moves beyond supply to manufacturing. Our own fabrication plant , VTR Sdn Bhd is established, giving us full control over product quality, lead times, and customisation.
1998
Internationally tested and certified
Phoenix rectangular attenuators tested at the National University of Singapore per ASTM E477-84.
Also certified by SIRIM in accordance with BS 4718:1971. Products are no longer just manufactured — they are proven.
2000
First overseas shipment — Taiwan
Phoenix crosses borders for the first time, shipping fabricated products to Taiwan. The beginning of our Asia Pacific export journey.
2015
Phoenix Reimagined
Phoenix unveiled a new identity designed for the future, cleaner, stronger, and more reflective of the engineering excellence behind every solution we deliver.
PRESENT
15+ countries. ISO certified. Still building.
Phoenix today exports to over 15 countries including Japan, Australia, Thailand, Taiwan, and beyond. VTR Sdn Bhd holds ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications. And we are still building.
